Dr. Cecilia Brantley, adjunct professor, Argosy University, Chicago, will have her doctoral thesis included in the 8th International Sport and Society Conference. The thesis is entitled Women in Male-Dominated Motorsports: Perceptions and Willingness to Compete. The conference takes place in London in July 2017.
Dr. Brantley is an entrepreneur, educator, and president and co-founder of BodyParts Fitness, Ltd. in Chicago. In that capacity, she provides consulting services and exercise programs to groups including seniors, youth, and the physically challenged. She’s also a personal trainer for adults.
Brantley has nearly 30 years of experience in the field of physical fitness. In 2000, she established a nonprofit organization called BodyParts Senior Fitness that’s focused on bringing exercise programs to aging adults in underprivileged populations.
In 2013, she earned a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University, Chicago.
