Created a Company to Build Strong Communities Via Developmental Service Initiatives

Dr. Neville T. Martin is the CEO and founder of Building Abundant Life Mission, Inc. (BALM) in New York. BALM works to build strong individuals, families and communities through educational, socioeconomic and ethical business and developmental service initiatives. The company provides management and consultancy services to businesses, service organizations, and individuals.

Neville believes that successful socioeconomic development initiatives begin with like-minded stakeholders. “The values of our society are evidenced by the quality of our individual and collective activities, attitudes, and pursuits,” he says. Neville has held several executive, specialized advisory, teaching, and community service positions in both developing and developed countries. He also has over 16 years of managerial experience working for a top 15 Fortune 100 Company.

Neville earned his Doctorate of Business Administration in Business Administration from Argosy University, Online Programs in 2011. He brought his wealth of hands-on business experience to the classroom, combining his human resources, marketing, information technology (IT), and community background to focus on “Information Technology and Management Performance.” His doctoral research investigated managerial perceptions of IT value, knowledge management, and the dynamic capabilities of firm performance in the publicly traded US technology sector.

Neville’s additional professional accomplishments include co-authoring research presented at the sixth Annual Business Conference on Global Sustainable Development, Argosy University, Sarasota, Florida. He also continues his passion for mentoring youth through his work at BALM.
