Dr. Debra Logan, chair of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program at Argosy University, Dallas was recently
appointed to serve on the North Texas Organization of Nurse Executives
membership committee. The organization is the Texas chapter of the American
Organization of Nurse Executives, with a mission to represent nurse leaders in
Texas who improve healthcare through collaboration and innovation.
North Texas Organization of Nurse Executives works to shape the future of healthcare through innovative nursing leadership and its membership includes leaders from practice and education. Dr. Logan stated that, “serving on the membership committee provides me with an opportunity to help shape the strength of the organization through strategic membership efforts.” She added that it will provide her with an indirect forum for increasing the visibility of Argosy University, Dallas.
Dr. Logan, PhD, RN, has served in a variety of leadership roles including endowed chair of nursing and health sciences, campus dean of nursing, nursing administrator, program director, director of education, program coordinator and clinical education specialist. She’s a former national director in the online education sector, providing insights into innovative educational delivery methods. Dr. Logan has served as both principal and co-investigator of funded grants totaling more than $1.8 million and her healthcare experience includes a specialization in establishing and managing academic-clinical partnerships.
