Rika Nagayoshi, who is working toward an Associate of Applied Science in Histotechnology at Argosy University, Dallas, recently earned first place in the Student Slide Competition at the Texas Society for Histotechnology Annual Convention.
The competition takes place each year. Students are given a project, provided with the materials and instructions needed, and required to complete assigned special stains and cuts on prescribed tissue blocks. The blocks are sent back for evaluation and judging by TSH Board members.
Congratulations to Rika!
