CHICAGO (Feb. 2, 2015) -- The Council of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has invited Neal S. Rubin, Ph.D., ABPP to an appointment on the Committee on Scientific Freedom and Responsibility (CSFR), in the Scientific Rights and Responsibilities, Human Rights and Law Program.
Rubin is a professor and university fellow at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University | Chicago.
As a member of the committee, Rubin will be in an advisory role promoting the application of science and technology to the promotion of human rights and documentation of human rights abuses, as well as for activities related to the ethical and legal issues associated with the conduct of research and its applications at AAAS.
AAAS is an international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing science for the benefit of all people. It is the largest scientific organization in the world and has been promoting scientific inquiry and the application of science in the public interest for over 150 years.
