Florida School of Professional Psychology Associate Professor Eric Rosen, Ph.D. was named Educator of the Year at the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT) Hypno Expo. The award honored him as a teacher/trainer of hypnosis. Rosen also presented at the conference, covering “Trauma Informed Clinical Hypnotherapy.”
Rosen is an IACT and IMDHA ( International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association) certified hypnotherapy instructor and certified master trainer of clinical hypnosis, having taught clinical hypnosis both in the community and through the Florida School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University to clinical psychology doctoral students.
IACT is an association for holistic practitioners that provides a forum where members may exchange ideas, information, techniques and methodologies. Establishing itself apart from the rest as a multidisciplinary association, which specializes in holistic techniques. IACT's membership includes medical practitioners, psychologists, clinical social workers, coaches, stress consultants, NLP practitioners, clergy, licensed massage therapists, hypnotists, hypnotherapists, biofeedback specialists, nutritionists, educators, mental health therapists, substance abuse counselors and others in the helping, healing arts.
