Argosy University, Hawaii recently held a disaster relief fundraiser in downtown Honolulu to benefit those impacted flooding and volcanic activity. In addition to the disastrous lava flows on the Big Island, devastating flooding has occurred in Kauai. The event was held in partnership with local radio station 102.7 Da Bomb and First Hawaiian Bank. Bank volunteers held signs and collected money that went to First Hawaiian Bank’s Aloha for Hawaii fund. The fund benefits the Salvation Army’s relief efforts on the ground.
The university will also be holding a bake sale, Proceeds benefit Argosy University students and graduates on the Big Island directly impacted by the lava flow.
