Faculty, staff, and students from Argosy University, Hawaii participated in the 23rd annual Men’s March Against Violence. The event began at the Hawaii state capitol rotunda with a remembrance ceremony honoring victims of domestic violence. The march concluded with a rally featuring guest speakers at Skygate Park.
The event builds awareness of the issue of domestic violence in Hawaii and the community at-large is urged to support and march. The march works to prevent domestic violence incidents from taking place and provides resources to victims seeking help. Nearly 1,000 people participated in last year’s march and rally, instilling the values of peace and non-violence.
