Inland Empire Campus Walks to Fight Suicide

Recently, 30 faculty, staff, and students from Argosy University, Inland Empire participated in the “2016 Inland Empire Out of Darkness Walk – Walk to Fight Suicide,” developed by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The event took place on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Upland Memorial Park and included faculty, staff, and students.


The Out of Darkness walk enables Argosy University, Inland Empire to join the local community in an effort to raise awareness about suicide for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.  The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide.
