(Chicago, October 2015) Neal S. Rubin, Ph.D., ABPP, Professor of International Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University | Chicago will be leading two symposia at the 31st International Congress of Psychology (ICP) in Yokohama, Japan in July, 2016. ICP occurs every four years and is the world meeting of the field of Psychology. The conference draws psychologists from all over the world representing the wide array of specialties within the field. The last two conferences were held in Cape Town in 2012 and in Berlin in 2008.
The ICP conference theme for Yokohama (just outside of Tokyo) is: “Diversity in Harmony: Insights from Psychology.”
The first symposium Dr. Rubin is leading is: “Seeking Harmony in Diverse Places Unknown: The Plight of Immigrants and Refugees in the 21st Century.”
The second symposium is: “Multi-cultural Education in an Era of Divisiveness: Teaching Diversity does not always Engender Harmony in the Classroom.”
