Local veterinary technicians learn the benefits of canine massage from Argosy University, Twin Cities

On January 31, 2018, Argosy University, Twin Cities hosted a two hour continuing education course for  72 local veterinary technicians and Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology students to teach them about the benefits of therapeutic massage on dogs. Faculty member Tracey Heider-Kitching led the session where attendees learned about the healing modality of canine massage and how it can benefit their patients. According to Heider-Kitching, injury and muscle strain can affect our animal patients, just like it affects us.  Medical massage is great for relaxation, treatment of pain, and recovery from injury.
