Jeremy Porter, director of student financial services at Argosy University, Nashville was named a member of the 2019 class of the Business Leadership Program of the Donelson-Hermitage community. There were over 60 applicants for this year’s class and 31 were selected to join the program.
Leadership Donelson-Hermitage (LDH) was formed in 1998. The program’s goal is to produce well informed and motivated community leaders who are willing and capable of working together for a better tomorrow.
Participants work in a 10-month program that begins with an overnight retreat and is followed each month by days focused on enhancing community awareness. Porter will gain insight on leadership capacity skills building, teamwork, and group development training.
Each monthly session includes topics impacting the community, including wellness, diversity, criminal justice, business development, government, education, sports and the arts. He’ll also have the opportunity to meet and network with other community leaders.
Over 500 people have graduated from the program in the past 10 years.
