Northern Virginia’s Brian Sharpless Quoted in Sleep Paralysis Story

Professor Brian Sharpless of the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University | Northern Virginia, was recently quoted in the Self Magazine story “Let's Talk About Sleep Paralysis: When You Wake Up and Can't Move.’

According to Dr. Sharpless, “women are more commonly affected than men, and those with existing anxiety disorders are more at risk than the general population.”
