Paula L Rainer, Ph.D., assistant professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Argosy University, Northern Virginia, recently had a book chapter accepted for publication. “Erik Erikson Stages of Development” will be published in The Handbook of Experiential Teaching in Counselor Education: A Resource Guide for Counselor Educators.
Dr. Rainer is also a student affairs chairperson and student professional development committee chairperson at the school. “I am dedicated to early identification and management of the symptoms of depression and anxiety,” she wrote in her online Psychology Today profile. “There is no reason to fear a diagnosis of anxiety or depression that can be successfully treated. The only problem would be to suffer alone.”
