Northern Virginia’s Dr. Sharpless Talks Sleep Paralysis on

Brian A. Sharpless, Associate Professor, Clinical Psychology programs, the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University | Northern Virginia, was recently interviewed for an article on entitled “Why You See Terrifying Figures During Sleep Paralysis.”

In the article Sharpless states, "Usually the first thing that happens is you might sense some presence in the room with you — it’s kind of like walking down a dark alley and you feel like you're being watch[ed] — that uncanny feeling where you feel like you're vulnerable."
