Guest Speaker: ROBERT BARRETT, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Clinical Psychology
Dr. Barrett has been licensed for over twenty three years and has worked in a variety of clinical settings including the University of California Counseling and Psychological Services Program, the San Diego Police Department Psychology Program, and the Center for Social Services in San Diego. Most recently, Dr. Barrett was Clinical Director and then Executive Director of the Livingston Foundation Medical Center in San Diego.

Guest Speaker: ERIC L. ROSEN, Ph.D., C.Ht., FPPR Licensed Psychologist/PY 0005165
Dr. Eric Rosen is an Associate Professor with the Florida School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Tampa where he has been an instructor going on 12 years. Dr. Rosen teaches clinical hypnotherapy, assessment courses, lifespan, clinical psychopharmacology, and works with Masters and Doctoral students in clinical psychology. He also holds practice in Palm Harbor, FL specializing in pediatrics, family and couples work, forensics, and special needs populations such as deafness (fluent in ASL), intellectual disabilities, ADHD, learning disabilities, and trauma.
1. Learn key definitions of hypnosis
2. Recount origins of hypnotherapy and key exponents in the field
3. De-mystify and explain trance, hypnotic induction, delineate elements of hypnosis session. Observe live model induction.
4. Learn 3 clinical applications of hypnotherapy applied to DSM-V diagnoses via case studies
5. 1 CEU (Continuing Education Credit) can be earned by licensed psychologists
