Dr. Louise Baca, Professor of Clinical Psychology and Associate Director of Clinical Training with the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University has been selected by the Arizona Psychological Association (AzPA) Student Affairs Committee as the recipient of the 2016 Faculty of the Year award.
The Faculty of the Year award is presented based on the nominations received from students. The award was presented to her at the AzPA Annual Convention on September 23, 2016.
Baca is a professor and clinical psychology faculty
member at the Arizona School of Professional Psychology at Argosy
University (ASPP), where she has been employed for the last 14 years.
Dr. Baca works with all aspects of diversity training and group
psychotherapy. She teaches, consults and publishes primarily within this
area with current work pertaining to the use of Native American/Latino
spirituality in the healing process. She was invited to an Oxford
Roundtable at Oxford University, in the spring of 2008, where she
described how Indigenous perspectives could enhance world peace.
