Dr. Qi Chen is a faculty/dissertation chair at Argosy University, Chicago. She is also the Library Director at Calumet College of St. Joseph in Whiting, Indiana and previously worked as the Area Library Director for Argosy University.
Dr. Chen was recently elected as the President of the Chinese American Librarians Association (CALA), an affiliate of the American Library Association. She’s also a member of the Leadership Academy of CALA.
Recently, she delivered a talk on Leadership and Communication. Dr. Chen has given more than 20 presentations at various seminars and workshops in the United States, China, and Taiwan. Dr. Chen also led a group of eight Chinese American Librarians to present at the Annual Conference of Library Society of China, where Dr. Chen was invited as a distinguished guest. She delivered a keynote speech at the division session.
Dr. Chen earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Argosy University, Chicago, in 2007.
