Sarasota Grad Dr. Carmen Castro Earns Most Influential Latina of the Middle East Cultural Icon Legacy Award of 2017

Dr. Carmen Castro, who in 2006 earned a Doctor of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from Argosy University, Sarasota, has been given the “Most Influential Latina of the Middle East Cultural Icon Legacy Award of 2017” from the Hispanic Business Owners of the City of New York.

Dr. Castro is the chief executive officer and founder of Aurora International Executive Solutions Hong Kong, LTD and Aurora International Executive Solutions, LLC. The company serves clients in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Russia, Europe and the Americas. She is an award-winning senior business executive, motivational speaker, economist, and author dedicated to the empowerment of female leaders and business owners.

Dr. Castro was named by Houston Woman Magazine as one of “Houston´s 50 Most Influential Women of 2014, received the Ana G. Méndez Excellence in International Business and Entrepreneurial Education Award of 2014, was one of the “Top 5 Most Influential and Successful Female CEOs and Entrepreneurs in Asia, Africa and the Middle East 2014,” received the “Global Female Economic Champion Award of 2013” and named a “Global Hall of Fame Economic Champion 2013” by CEO Clubs Networks Worldwide.
