Dr. Sean Sullivan, who in 2008 earned a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, is quoted in the February 2018 edition of the American Psychological Association’s “Monitor on Psychology.” Dr. Sullivan is cited in the article, “Virtual Reality Expands its Reach,” which focuses on the use of virtual reality to help people to address phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance use disorders and more.

According to the article, this software can help to treat anxiety-based disorders with exposure therapy, provide relapse prevention for substance abuse and teach mindfulness and relaxation. Dr. Sullivan states in the article, “now that I've been using it in my own practice, I wouldn't want to give it up.”
