On Reptile Awareness Day, October 21, 2016, students in the Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology program at Argosy University, Twin Cities, worked with the Minnesota Herpetological Society to gain hands-on experience with reptiles and amphibians.
Students had the opportunity to examine bearded dragons, a Chinese water dragon, a corn snake, several common boas, and a number of turtles and tortoises. This educational partnership between the Veterinary Technology program and the Minnesota Herpetological Society (MHS) allows students to learn more about these interesting animals, and helps to further the mission of the MHS to educate the public about the care of reptiles and amphibians.
Programs, credential levels, technology, and scheduling options vary by school and are subject to change. Not all online programs are available to residents of all U.S. states.
