Vishwani completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Histotechnology from the Medical Institute of Minnesota (now Argosy University/Twin Cities) in
2000. Upon graduation she went to work in Allina's Mercy and Unity Hospital Histopathology Lab as a histotechnician.
Vishwani returned to Argosy University/Twin Cities and completed a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology in 2004. Using both degrees, Vishwani was promoted to Lead Supervisor at Mercy and Unity Hospital. As the Lead Supervisor, Vishwani schedules technicians, performs daily work-flow analyses
and addresses personnel issues. She trains new employees and trouble shoots daily issues in the labs. She also consults with Allina's clinics, hospitals, and labs and participates on a system-wide quality control and quality analysis team.
Vishwani takes pride in being part of a team that delivers speedy and accurate diagnoses to anxious patients. Working with people of all ages, genders and nationalities, Vishwani says that she is in "constant awe" at the way she is able to integrate and utilize both her histotechnology and psychology degrees.
Vishwani began the Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy program at Argosy University/Twin Cities in the Spring of 2006.
