Stephen Griffin is the vice president of strategy at ThinkWise, a software-as-a-service company. The company creates online assessments and leadership surveys—and the solutions are used throughout the world.
Stephen says that he began working toward his Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology degree after completing an internship with the Devereux Foundation. “I soon started consulting within police psychology, applying science to the law enforcement community. In time, I built a passion for creating solutions and worked within the test publishing community. I started working as an internal consultant at Spectrum Health, building organizational initiatives around leadership, hiring practices, and team development.”
Stephen, who in 2005 earned a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Chicago, says that he recently returned to his test publishing roots, helping to run ThinkWise. “Businesses and consultants around the world use our solutions in their important work. Building and creating psychological solutions for the masses is what I love doing the most.”
Stephen has served as the education chair for the American Psychological Association's division 18 (Police Psychology), past chair of the International Association of Chiefs of Police-Psychological Services Section, past resident of the Police and Criminal Psychology, past board member of the clinical division of the Association of Test Publishers, and also as a founding member of the American Board of Professional Psychology’s Police and Public Safety Board. His professional certifications include Licensed Psychologist, Board Certified Specialist (ABPP), and Human Capital Strategist.
