Argosy University Announces the Andres Romay Memorial Scholarship
Through February 15, 2013, undergraduate students at Argosy University have the opportunity to apply for the Andres Romay Memorial Scholarship, which will provide a $250 scholarship to a qualified recipient.
Andres Romay was a manager in Argosy University’ Pre-Admissions department. He was born on November 14, 1979 and died November 10, 2011. During his life, Andres was known for his positive outlook, and his sunny disposition made an impact on those around him even after he passed away, when co-workers found note cards in his desk listing what he was grateful for each day. As his parents stated at the time of his funeral, they put a bud out there in the world and it had really blossomed.
At the time of his passing, Andres was attending Argosy University, Phoenix, for his Doctoral degree in Business Administration. He believed that small successes, such as completing your education, led to larger successes later in life.
Andres would be proud to know his memory lives on and that a scholarship will help one individual fulfill their educational goals.
$250 has been specifically designated to be awarded to one student participating in our undergraduate online programs.
For information on how to apply, current undergraduate students should check the Campus Common.
