Chart Your Course with Career Services
If you’ve been thinking about earning your advertising, web design or photography degree online, you’ve probably also wondered how it will translate into a creative career that you love. You may have even asked yourself “Can an online degree be trusted? Is it as credible as one I’d earn at a ground school?” The Art Institute of Pittsburgh – Online Division answers these questions with a comprehensive career services program.
From day one, you’ll have access to helpful tools for career assessment and resume builder software, in addition to detailed job search information for your chosen field.
Before you graduate, a career assistant will contact you and provide services including a resume critique by a career professional in your chosen field, assistance in completing your cover letter, identifying job search best practices, and guiding you through the interview process.
After graduation, you can work with a career services advisor, who will assist you with developing a career strategy, resume and cover letter refinement, job search in your field and location, as well as interview preparation.
We work hard to provide graduates with the tools they need to compete in the field. According to this report, “of all 2008 graduates of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh – Online Division available for employment, 87.1% were working in a field related to their program of study within six months of graduation, at an average salary of $31,455.”
