Get Involved with Our Semiannual Psychology Conference!

When you imagine a psychology research conference, what do you picture? Maybe it seems fun, scary, or you have no idea what it is even about.

As graduate students, some of us in the faculty had the opportunity to attend and present at campus-based research conferences. What a fantastic experience! Fellow graduate students and faculty presented research they had been working on. The conferences were set up to mirror what an actual state or national conference would be like. Topics varied and we broke out our interviewing suits.

The faculty at Argosy University, Online Programs have come together with the Argosy University Psychology Club to offer you a similar experience—one not offered by any other online program, at least to our knowledge!

Why present at the Semiannual Virtual Psychology Research Conference?

• It’s great opportunity to practice public speaking and presenting a poster before you do it in front of an in-person audience.

• You don’t have to be technology-savvy. Faculty members run the show. You just design your poster and present. We even field the questions for you to answer!

• The experience is a great one to add to your vita.

Why attend the conference?

• Our conference is designed to give you a taste of what it would be like to attend an in-person conference, with keynote speakers and poster presentations. You might decide to present at the next one.

• This conference is not limited to graduate students; undergraduates are welcome and encouraged to attend.

• You might learn about topics you didn’t even know were of interest.

• It’s a great opportunity to see what your faculty and fellow students have been working on.

• It’s available at no charge to you.

Plus, whether you’re attending or present, you don’t have to get dressed up or travel anywhere!
